1. Do you enjoy the outdoors?
Obviously a campervan holiday includes a lot of outdoor activities and most campsites have grass and mud. BUT you don't need to be Bear Grylls to enjoy a campervan trip - bring your wellies and a good coat and you won't even know you're in nature.
You might have had bad experiences of camping but with a campervan it's even more luxurious than glamping. As soon as you step inside your campervan and close the door, you are warm and cosy and don't even realise you're sleeping outside.
2. Do you need to shower everyday?
This might sound funny but if you've been wild camping, a hot shower isn't close by but with a campervan, you can have a shower even when you aren't on a campsite. Just make sure to have enough water stored before going somewhere with the shower cubicles.
3. Do you like to be spontaneous?
The 9-5 slog can leave you feeling like your life is full of constant time keeping and appointments but a campervan holiday can be the complete opposite OR it can be organised. That's why it's great because it can be so versatile!
You can plan the whole trip hour by hour or you can see where the road takes you and be completely relaxed!
4. Do you like to pack a lot?
So there's obviously not loads of room in a campervan to put 5 suitcases but it's not as small as you may think. When packing, don't use a hard suitcase but bring a bag that can be folded flat and stored under the bed. This way you can bring that extra pair of shoes and jumper which will fit easily into one of the many storage solutions.
5. Do you own a dog?
If you do, you'll already know that most holiday destinations don't allow dogs. Most campervan companies including Happy Campervan allow you to bring your furry friend!
6. Are you worried it will be cold?
Again most companies including Happy Campervan have central heating so you won't be cold at night. There are cooking facilities and a microwave so you can always have a hot chocolate on standby to feel cosy.
