3. Hele Valley Holiday Park, Ilfracombe


Ilfracombe is a seaside resort on the coast of North Devon and this campsite is the perfect family-run place to stay to explore. 


The campsite is great for kids as it has a children's play area and close by is a great town full of independent shops.

4. The Hideaway at Baxby Manor, York


As the name suggests, this campsite is tucked away so you feel near to nature and away from the norm. They are an eco campsite so you still get the luxury hot water but it's heated by a wood-fired boiler - definitely different to many and a nice experience. 


There are also only 40 pitches in a 6 acre field so make sure you book in advance!

First of all, the photos on Trip Advisor make it look so cosy and inviting which is a massive bonus so you know exactly what you will be getting. There is an amazing lake which you can apparently fish in and it's only 15 minutes from Blackpool. 


They also have firepits and BBQ's to cook with or toast marshmellows!
