Hi Campers!
Today I'm sharing our top 5 places to visit in the UK and reasons why you will love it whether you are staying in a tent, campervan or caravan!
You might be visiting the UK for the first time or having a 'staycation' but either way, the UK has some amazing places to explore and enjoy your holiday.
1. NEWQUAY, Cornwall
Newquay in Cornwall is famous for it's beaches & Fistral Beach is one of the world's top destinations for surfers. There are plenty of campsites which you can stay at with amazing views and short walking distances to the beach. Just make sure you either try a Cornish pasty, a Cream tea or some yummy Cornish ice cream OR you could try all 3! You won't be disappointed. Other places to visit in Newquay include the Newquay Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium or take a stroll through the quaint streets and do a spot of shopping.

2. LOCH NESS, Scottish Highlands
Scotland overall as a country is perfect for an exploring holiday with a campervan but one of the nicest places to stop and enjoy a coffee is Loch Ness. 22 miles of incredible views including mountains, highland cows and if you're lucky, the Loch Ness Monster - Nessie. Close to Inverness, this beautiful place is worth the trip. Also worth a visit is the Loch Ness Centre which shows you the history & if you like castles, try Urquhart Castle which is a great place to explore & enjoy a piece of cake in their cafe.

3. BOURNEMOUTH, Dorset
Right down south of the UK, you can enjoy Bournemouth for it's well known beaches, gardens & shopping which are all within walking distance of each other so everyone in the family will be happy! There are amusements on the pier, beach huts to hire & crazy golf for the kids (and adults). There are plenty of places to park your campervan and look out over the clifftops - perfect if you want to walk down to the beach or use the cliff lifts located at West Cliff & Fisherman's Walk. Make sure you try some fish & chips!

The Lake District is known for it's beautiful hills and great walks but it also offers places to relax too. Keswick is a great dog-friendly town with markets running on Thursdays & Saturdays all day. The town offers quirky cafes, a pencil museum & an optical illusions exhibition or if you fancy kayaking or hiring a boat then Derwentwater is a great place to go. This little town offers the best of both worlds with comfort looking onto the hills.
